I believe there’s always a good time for sangria, so feel free to replace the “summer” in the name of this easy summer sangria recipe with the season of your choice 😉
Sangria, or wine punch, is a fantastic party drink, especially if you can make it at home and let it sit in the fridge overnight. I made sangria last night at the BBQ we went to because I had visions of exploding sangria and Pilot’s car smelling like wine and brandy for the rest of the year. Personally, I don’t mind the smell of wine and brandy, but…
For this recipe I like to use a cheap dry red wine, like a cheap Spanish wine. If you prefer white wine, you can certainly substitute red wine for pinot gris or sauvignon blanc and make a white wine sangria that’s just as delicious. I know a lot of people who also like to add lemon-lime soda for a bit of fizz, but you can skip the addition and not miss a thing. After all, the key ingredients here are fresh fruit (summer fruit in this case) and sangria wine that’s off-the-charts amazing but surprisingly simple.

It’s super refreshing, not too sweet, and a staple party drink in our house.
I’m going to get groceries for the week and go to spin class. I hope you have a wonderful day and see you later <3

Something to do: As we enjoy the day, please take a moment to send love to the families of those who bravely, selflessly fought and made the ultimate sacrifice to protect our freedoms. The pilot lost some close friends, and I am forever grateful to those who have dedicated their lives to our safety.
